Establishing SPA (Speciality store retailer of Private label Apparel) strategies, we’ve slashed excess costs by handling everything from product planning to production, distribution, and marketing ourselves. We strive to retain low prices on lenses by placing a large order with some lens manufacturers. Through sheer effort, we’ve made it possible to offer a set of frame, lenses and glasses case priced from 4,990 yen. All JINS eyeglasses come with thin aspheric lenses, and no additional cost is necessary (*). Our pricing approach reflects our passion – for serving everyone a pair of our superior glasses.

Thanks to our customers, both numbers of our outlets and sales figures have steadily increased. However, that does not stop JINS from improving its in-store operation and training staff members at best. Our in-house training centre at the JINS headquarter in Maebashi, Gunma, constantly provides training programmes to all our employees. New employees receive a two-week intensive training on customer service and Ophthalmology. For further human resource development, a one-year store manager training programmes and the company’s unique study materials are also available. JINS has launched a new project called ‘One-Third Project’ which aims to review and reduce its current business operation by two-third, and to improve efficiency and customer service. The project includes reviewing not only in-store operation but also business systems and other facilities. Our quest for outstanding customer service knows no end.
